...is a lovely, quiet community comprised of both vacation and year-around homes.  It is nestled on the eastern flank of   Mt Lyn Lowry, one of the highest peaks in the Appalachians at 6,240 ft.

The entrance to Walker-in-the-Hills  is Located on the Great Smoky Mountains Expressway at Mile Marker 95 at

Walker Road

The entrance to Blue Ridge Pkwy   is just a mile to the west of   Walker Road near Mile Marker 94

NOTE:  Your GPS may not offer the best route to our homes (this is typical in the mountains).

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS:

     From Walker Road proceed to Old Fiddle Road.  TURN LEFT on Old Fiddle Road.

     Follow Old Fiddle Road to the fork at Sunrise Lane (Approx 9/10 Mile). BEAR RIGHT on Sunrise Lane.

     Our homes are on the right at the end of Sunrise Lane.  Follow the gravel driveway.
